Howard Gertz received his Baccalaureate degree from the University of Minnesota in 1973 and his law degree from Loyola Law School in 1978. After being admitted to the California State Bar the same year Mr. Gertz has been hard at work representing his clients fairly and professionally ever since.
Mr. Gertz is a well established and experienced litigator with both trial and appellate experience. An outstanding writer and litigator Mr. Gertz has handled a wide variety of matters including traffic accidents, product liability, slip and fall/trip and fall, professional malpractice, bullying, subrogation, and wrongful death.
Mr. Gertz was counsel for the plaintiff in the first civil jury trial ever held in the Big Bear court in San Bernardino County in 1981.
In addition to his trial work Mr. Gertz has substantial experience in mediating and arbitrating cases.
He is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.
Mr. Gertz coached youth baseball for many years.
He proudly claims to grow the worlds hottest chile peppers. He and his daughter have their own brand of hot sauce.
